Chocolate ganache mini-tarts

  • Hello again!

My son asked me to make something sweet with chocolate. He was in the mood for chocolate...

So after my search I found this amazing recipe from Martha Stewart and convert it in mini-tarts.

    You'll need:

    3 tablespoons almonds

  • 6 tablespoons sugar

  • 1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour

  • 2 teaspoons grated orange

  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

  • 6 tablespoons unsalted butter, cold and cut into pieces

  • 1 bar of chocolate, coarsely chopped

  • 200g heavy cream

  • Preheat oven to 180°.

Make dough: In a food processor, pulse almonds until finely ground. Add sugar, flour, zest and salt; pulse until combined. Add butter, pulsing until crumbs form.

Immediately roll dough using a cookie cutter and make the little tart shapes.

Bake for about 20 minutes. Transfer to a wire rack to cool completely, about 1 hour.

Make ganache: Place chocolate in a saucepan with cream and let it boil.

Stir until smooth and creamy in texture.

Pour chocolate mixture into each cooled tart shell.

Let stand until set, about 2 hours, or chill for 1 hour.

    Simply delicious!
