Layered planet earth cake - Bolo em camadas - planeta Terra

Here we are again!

For my father's 69th birthday party we decided for a space theme party! 

And, of course we needed a special layered cake! 

First buy 3 bowls of different sizes.

Choose a recipe. I choose orange cake.😊

 

Red for the earth core.

Yellow for the mantle. Put the first red cake incide the yellow and both of them go into the oven.

Orange for the upper mantle and repeat the process and all three go into the oven!

And now the most important part - the crust! 

And our planet has a Nutella crust! Now put the oceans and all the countries in the north hemisphere!

OK it's more like Pangeia, but it's almost, ok not even close! 😔

Rockstar cookies

My friend Tina's young boy is going to celebrate his 8th birthday! He decides to nave a rockstar party!

OMG! What am I going to do?! 

I think it turn out good. Guitars and microphone... Headphones too.

Them I remembered the vinyl records and of course some stars...

I like the colors, I think they work well together.

The birthday boy loved them!

Nautical cookies

Hello again!

Today we did lots of nautical theme cookies for my sons's college. 80 cookies order!

So for this order we decided to make new favors. So half was a gluten free mix with almond and the other half Mexican chocolate, that's saying chocolate with a small amount of cinnamon.

There was a big variety of cookies: submarines and boats, sea creatures, sun and flags...

Then I decided why not do a mermaid and a diver! Yes! They came out really rough...

Princess cookies

And here they are! Our princess Aurora cookies.

Everything is pink...

With lots of sprinkles!

We did some Royal Icing transfer where we use the color flow meringue.

The crown was super special and turned out great!

I just love these crowns! Perfect for a princess!

Snowwhite cookies

Helio! It's been a while!

Here are the newest cookies that we made to a snowwhite party!

There were lots of apples and crowns... And of course the 7 dwarves!

And we need to get one very bad and poisonous Apple!

Tea Party

When I was younger I used to organize some chic tea parties! 

I simply loved everything tiny and delicate, but mariage and a kid later I found myself with no time...

So this year I decided to organize a pink Tea Party.

I found this amazing invitations ...

I asked my friend Vera to make me this gorgeous cake!

I decided with pink velvet cupcakes and a fantastic pink buttercream.

I printed this bottle wrappers to my my water bottles beautiful.

I wrapped some chocolate bars to give as favors to my guests.

My tea bags...

I decided for these bouquets and put them in tea cups and a silver tea pot.

I printed these from a free site and theey turn out great.

These swirl cookies were a hit, too.

And these amazing tea pot cookies were a success!

We had such a great afternoon!
